John Guidetti Familj is a Swedish professional football player and coach who currently plays as a striker for AIK and the Sweden national team. He began his professional career with IF Brommapojkarna in 2008 and has since gone on to play for several top clubs in Europe, including Manchester City, Stoke City, and Celta Vigo.

Guidetti has also represented Sweden at various youth levels and made his senior international debut in 2012. He has since earned over 50 caps for his country and was a member of the squad that reached the quarter-finals of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Early Life and Career

John Guidetti was born in Stockholm, Sweden on April 15, 1992. He began playing football at an early age and joined the IF Brommapojkarna youth academy in 2006. He quickly rose through the ranks and made his professional debut for the club in 2008 at the age of 16.

In his first season with Brommapojkarna, Guidetti scored 14 goals in 24 appearances. His impressive performances caught the attention of several top clubs, and he joined Manchester City in 2009.

Manchester City and Loan Spells

At Manchester City, Guidetti initially played for the club's reserve team. He made his first-team debut in 2010 in a League Cup match against West Ham United. He scored his first goal for the club in a 4-0 win over Barnsley in the FA Cup later that season.

Guidetti struggled to break into the Manchester City first team in the following seasons. He was sent on loan to Feyenoord in 2011-12 and Stoke City in 2012-13. He had successful loan spells with both clubs, scoring 20 goals in 43 appearances for Feyenoord and 10 goals in 35 appearances for Stoke City.

Return to Manchester City and Sale to Celta Vigo

After his successful loan spells, Guidetti returned to Manchester City in 2014. He scored 3 goals in 13 appearances for the club in the 2014-15 season. However, he was sold to Celta Vigo in 2015 after failing to establish himself in the first team.

At Celta Vigo, Guidetti found regular playing time and became a key player for the club. He scored 32 goals in 100 appearances for Celta Vigo in all competitions.

International Career

John Guidetti has represented Sweden at various youth levels. He made his senior international debut in 2012 in a friendly match against Slovakia. He scored his first international goal in a 4-2 win over Norway in 2013.

Guidetti has since earned over 50 caps for his country and was a member of the squad that reached the quarter-finals of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
