2024 DNC to Convene in the Midwest
The Democratic National Committee (DNC) has announced that Chicago will host the 2024 Democratic National Convention from August 19-22. The United Center will serve as the venue for the event.
President Joe Biden selected Chicago as the host city, marking the first time the DNC will take place in the Midwest since 1996.
The convention will celebrate the nomination of President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, who will be seeking reelection in the 2024 presidential election.
Delegates from all 50 states and U.S. territories will gather in Chicago to participate in the convention proceedings, including platform discussions and speeches from party leaders.
