Justin Jefferson agrees to four-year contract extension with Minnesota Vikings
Deal will keep Vikings star wide receiver with the team through 2028

Justin Jefferson has come to terms on a four-year contract extension with the Minnesota Vikings, it was officially announced Tuesday. The extension will keep Jefferson with the team through the 2028 season.
Jeffersons extension was widely expected and comes as a sigh of relief to the Vikings fanbase. The 23 year old has quickly become one of the best players in the NFL and is considered to be one of the best wide receivers in the game.
The Vikings selected Jefferson out of LSU in the first round 2020 NFL Draft. In his three seasons, he has amassed 3,062 receiving yards and 19 touchdowns. He was named to the Pro Bowl in each of his first three seasons.
With Jefferson locked up on a contract extension, the Vikings now have the core of their offense in place for the long-term. They also have a young and talented defense led by several former first round draft picks. The Vikings are hoping that these pieces will help them take the next step and compete for a Super Bowl in the near future.
